A year of coughing led to Eve’s lung cancer diagnosis

Eve’s persistent cough was dismissed more than once - but it turned out to be stage 4 EGFR+ lung cancer.

I’m Eve. I’m 44 , French and live in the Northeast with my husband and my two lovely girls.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 EGFR-positive lung cancer in January 2023. I’d been coughing for about a year and had been sent home a couple of times from the doctor. It turned out to be lung cancer.

I do Zumba and yoga several times a week. I like spending time with my family and friends — and I’m always up for a good laugh.

I love travelling, and I’ve been lucky enough to visit amazing places and meet fantastic people.
