Gini shares her story in the Mail on Sunday

Gini Harrison, a member of the All You Need Is Lungs working group and Research Trustee at EGFR+ UK, shared her story in the Mail on Sunday this weekend as part of Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

Her shoulder pain was first thought to be linked to breastfeeding, but it turned out to be stage 4 EGFR-positive lung cancer.

By speaking so openly, Gini is helping to challenge assumptions and raise awareness that lung cancer can affect anyone - and that symptoms aren’t always what people expect.

We’re so grateful to Gini for sharing her experience and for everything she does to drive awareness and research forward.
